Welcome to #WildcardWednesday! Every Wednesday we ask a question, and whoever leaves us the best response on Facebook or Pinterest will win a freebie of their choice! Above you see the samples that are up for grabs this week, so buckle in for our question!
Today, March 2, is Read Across America Day! Why do we celebrate reading on March 2 every year, you might ask? Well, it’s Dr. Seuss’s birthday! Dr. Seuss has been a staple of new readers’ bookshelves for the last century, and for good reason – his imagination and playful rhymes resonate with folks young and old! Since we love Dr. Seuss just as much as we love reading, we want to know: what’s your favorite Dr. Seuss book, and why? Of course there are the super well-known classics about The Cat and the Sneetches, but there are plenty of others that are fantastic as well!
Click here for more Read Across America info and teaching resources. And don’t forget to comment on Facebook or Pinterest @CatchyFreebies using the hashtag #WildcardWednesday for a chance to win your choice of the above samples!
