Pets; We love them, we care for them, some of us don’t know where we would be without them. CatchyFreebies was able to find a great dog food FREBIE from Powder4PAWS for our Fur-babies that only want organic, tasty, and fresh ingredients. That got us thinking; what if we were able to eat food with our Dogs? Not just sharing table scraps, but actually preparing a meal you could share on the same plate? Below are 5 doggone delicious recipes for you and your Pupper to chow down on!

Spaghetti
The iconic Disney scene from The Lady and The Tramp might not be a work of fiction after all. Spaghetti, absolutely plain, can actually help improve your dog’s’ brain and muscle development with pasta’s High Glucose and Carbohydrates. It’s also low in Sodium, Cholesterol free, filled with Iron, and Vitamin B, each providing perfect reasons to include your puppy in your next Italian Date night (Just remember to serve in moderation)!

Lamb and Goat Cheese
Dogs are able to eat a majority of different cooked meats. Beef, Turkey, and Lamb being some of the more optimal options for your canine. Cheese also fits nicely into the “Safe” column of what foods they can eat. While it is true that Dogs are able to disgust milk based products, sometimes it may upset their stomachs; it varies from puppy to puppy. So find a perfect combination with cooked Lamb and low lactose Goat Cheese! This could even be a shared meal prepared for the both of you!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie
Not only is Peanut Butter the tastiest treat for Dogs, it’s also one of the more healthiest! Peanut Butter contains a ton of heart healthy Fats, Vitamin B, Vitamin E, and more. Sometimes, it can feel like plain Peanut Butter is a plain treat for our Puppers. How can we jazz it up? Add Strawberries! Strawberries contain a grand amount of antioxidants and have high levels of fiber. Take a handful of strawberries, a dollop or two of Peanut Butter, some unsweetened maple syrup, and a small container of Greek Yogurt (Also beyond healthy for Fido), and you can both enjoy a tasty, healthy Smoothie!

Oatmeal and Fruit
Do you have an elderly Doggo? They probably could use a little more Fiber in their diet! Plain Oatmeal has a ton of Fiber and can also soothe some common gas and bowel movement issues they may encounter. Adding Banana’s and Blueberries can introduce a great source of Potassium, Copper, Biotin, and essential Vitamins into their diet! Freeze your Blueberries, chop up a small amount of Banana’s, and prepare your plain oatmeal for this dish to bow-WOW your Dog.

Pumpkin and Apple Cookies
Our last recipe takes a little longer to prepare, but your dog will perform all their tricks in order to receive this treat. Eggs provide Protein and Selenium, Oats provide Fiber, Pumpkins and Apples also provide vitamins and fiber; every ingredient improves your puppy’s health in a great way. It’s worth checking out at Girl In The Little Red Kitchen’s website.
