Add to favoritesI’m excited for Memorial Day! First of all, it’s the official start of the summer season… SUMMER!!! And, of course, you can’t beat a day off! I’m planning a fabulous barbecue and I want everyone to have a really great time. I want everyone to enjoy good food, good company, and good fun. Only problem is my budget. I’d love to pull out all the stops but my wallet is telling me I can’t. I won’t let that stop me from celebrating, though; we can still have a good time and my guests don’t even have to know that I cut a few corners. (Unless they read this post, that is.) I just need to be smart and creative, which, of course, I am. And smart enough to know that I might need a little help to come up with some ideas for throwing a fabulous barbecue on a budget. I’ll just share the link to this great post that I found from forkful, and you can also celebrate Memorial Day in style and not go broke.
And while we’re celebrating, let’s take a moment and remember the heroes who gave their lives for our freedom. Thank you to them, and thank you to all those who put their lives on the line so we can continue to live our lives safely in this country.
