So, December was a great time to take advantage of holiday deals, and January sales were all about getting good deals on the aftermath. It turns out that there are great bargains to be had throughout the whole year, and here’s where you can do really well in February:
- Presidents Day Sales: Almost all stores offer fabulous savings on this holiday, and you can save big on home goods, such as mattresses, furniture, and towels.
- Jewelry: You’ll get deals for Valentines Day, but the even better deals come after that, when stores want to move merchandise.
- Tax software: I hate to be the one to mention it, but that day is coming soon enough!
- TVs: Many stores will offer sales after the Super Bowl, especially since new models are introduced in January and the stores need to make room for them.
- Cold weather clothing: Now’s the time for great prices on winter wear like coats and sweaters. There’s still plenty of cold weather ahead of us, and you can always stock up for next winter.
- Cruises: Book a cruise now for a great price, and take advantage of the upgrades that are offered.
- Luggage: Get rid of that ratty old suitcase when luggage goes on sale this month.
- Video games: New ones come in for the holiday shopping season, so by February they’re already old merchandise, and you can get them on sale.
- Chocolate: After Valentine’s Day gift boxes of chocolate go on sale, so treat yourself!
- Winter sports goods: Get great deals on ski equipment and other winter sporting goods.
