Happy #ThrowbackThursday! With the weather acting up all over the place, we thought it was high time we explored some options for indoor play. Being stuck inside with the kids doesn't have to involve TV or the computer! Here's a roundup of our favorite indoor activities for kids of all ages - I have to say #6 is sooo cute!!

1. Masking tape racetrack.
If you have boys or girls who love playing with cars, a homemade, customized racetrack is just the ticket. And if you make it with masking or painters tape, you can pull up your track easily at the end of the day! Click here for the full tutorial from Kids Activities Blog.2. Plastic bottle bowling (with numbers!).
Does your toddler need a bit of help learning numbers? This fun bowling game can help - and you'll reuse some of those plastic bottles you may have sitting in your recycling bin! Get the full guide with math lesson tips for toddlers here via Learn With Play At Home.3. Dinosaur memory game (FREE printable!).
Mix, match, and have a blast with these dino matching cards! They're perfect for toddlers who love dinos - get extra points by using this game to teach them dinosaur names! Click here to grab the free printable on Itsy Bitsy Fun and get started.4. Faux stained glass windows.
This project is so simple but so fun for kids of all ages. You just need cellophane or bits of thin colored paper, plus a paintbrush and some soap for hours of window decorating fun! Then when the kiddos are done perfecting the decor, you can snap some pics and wash it off to start over - or leave it up to see how long it sticks! If you have active elementary-age kids, this DIY indoor croquet set will help them burn off some extra energy while staying focused - and maybe learning a little! If you include the counting aspect, it's a great way for toddlers to practice their numbers, and it's also a great way to keep older kids engaged and make the game a little more difficult (the longer the game, the longer Mom can stay on break!). All you need is a hockey stick, cardboard tubes and/or construction paper, tape, and markers. Find the full tutorial here courtesy of Toddler Approved.6. Tic-Tac-Snow (inspired by Frozen!).
For slightly older kids, try competitive strategic board games like tic tac toe. This Frozen-inspired board is super easy to pull together (put on the film while you set it up for extra points!) and it'll seriously impress any "Let It Go" fans, to say the least. And the best part? You just need some wine or champagne corks (upcycle 'em!), paint, and maybe some felt or fabric for the "board" - though you could just as easily draw one on a sheet of sturdy paper. Click here for this DIY guide from Disney Family.7. Balloon ping pong.
When you just can't get the kids to stop bouncing off the walls, grab some popsicle sticks, paper, and a balloon! This balloon "ping pong" game will tire out the kids (eventually), while you put your feet up and sip some hot tea. You can use paper plates or posterboard for the "paddles," and get fancy with some Washi tape or marker decorations. Let the kids take over the paddle-making process and make the rules, then blow up the balloon and let the games begin!
