Here at Catchyfreebies.com, we recently polled 300 fictitious individuals regarding their opinion on Chocolate. Each person who participated unanimously agreed, Chocolate is delicious and good for the soul. We happen to agree with our made-up participants, leading us to search the Internet for the perfect Chocolate Freebie deal this month. This tasty freebie got us thinking: How many different ways can you prepare chocolate?

Egg Cream – One of the most deceptive concoctions on this list, Egg Cream, is the tastiest chocolate milk mixtures around. Dating back as far as the 1900, the simple combination of Milk, Seltzer Water, and Chocolate Syrup was all the rage within any respectable candy store. This drink is still enjoyed by many but not nearly as popularized as it was 100 years ago.

Aztec Style Hot Chocolate – Before milk and sugar made it’s way over to Mesoamerica, The Aztecs had developed a drink consisting of  water, cornmeal, chili peppers, and of course, cocoa.   • 1 Cup Milk
  • 5. Oz Dark Chocolate
  • ¼ Tsp. Cinnamon
  • “Tiny Pinch” Caynne
  • Optional Addition For an extra kick! – 1.5 fl oz of Whiskey

Vegan Chocolate Pancakes – For those who enjoy using living a Vegan lifestyle, we’ve found new ways to enjoy classics like Vegan Chocolate-Chip Pancakes! Brands like Enjoy Life Foods make chocolate chips and others sweets without the use of dairy, peanut, egg, soy, and other additives.

Serves 4

  • 18oz of Quick Cooking Oats
  • 16oz of Almond Milk
  • 2 cups of Walnuts
  • 3 Bananas

Take your 18oz of Quick Cooking Oats and place into blender. Blend on highest speed until oats become fine in texture. Store oats into separate container. Take Almond Milk and Walnuts and blend until Walnuts evenly blends with Almond Milk. Place 3 whole peeled Bananas into Almond Milk and Walnut mixture. Blend Bananas until evenly blends with Almond Milk and Walnut mixture. Take your fine textured Quick Cooking Oats and slowly mix into Banana, Almond Milk, and Walnut mixture on a low speed. Blend until mixture becomes a semi-thick batter. You may now pour the batter onto a pan on medium heat. Wait until the outer portion of the batter bubbles. Flip pancake and let sit for equal time. Take off stove when finished!

10 Minute Microwave Cake – Eating cake is amazing. Making the cake, however, isn’t as amazing. To those who love to bake and prepare sweets, they get to reap the rewards of their rendering. Everyone else hopes to get invited to a Birthday party. Stop waiting and use this quick recipe for an (almost) instant cake! Before pouring in your Cake batter, use a coating of cooking spray to line the inside of your microwave safe container.

  • 1 Cup of Super-Fine White Sugar
  • 2 Cups of Self Raising Flour
  • ALTERNATIVELY: 2 cups of All Purpose Flour w/ 1-2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Cup of Cocoa Powder
  • MIX TOGETHER
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 Cup of Milk
  • 4oz of Melted Butter
  • MIX TOGETHER

Pour cake batter into microwave safe container evenly. Place in microwave on 75% power for 6-7 minutes or until firm to the touch. Cake is finished! For your chocolate sauce!

  • 1 Cup of Dark Chocolate (Broken Apart)
  • 1/3 Cup of Whipping Cream

Place the combined mixture into a microwave safe container and cook for 2 minutes. Check every :30 seconds to evenly smooth sauce until to semi-soft. Drizzle over the cake, cake is complete!

1 Minute Microwave Cake In A Mug - Feeling even lazier? Take small chunks of chocolate and melt them for 2 minutes, checking every :30 seconds to evenly smooth out the mug. Then add ½ spoon of baking powder, 2 spoons of flour, ½ spoon of sugar, 2 spoons of milk and stir! Then microwave the batter for :30 seconds on the highest setting and you have yourself a cake in a mug!
